EU/UNDP Project took part in the “Ecological walking tour” for schoolchildren

Annual "Ecological walking tour" is organized by Kobryn Regional Eco-biological Center for Children and Youth. It includes competitions, quizzes and different tasks on eco-theme.
This year tour was held by teachers of the Center according to a programme developed by the experts of EU/UNDP Project "Support to the development of a comprehensive framework for international environmental cooperation in the Republic of Belarus".
Besides the usual quiz children were to pass three stations of competition, where they were supposed to perform different tasks. The first station was about to answer the questions of separate waste collection, the second station included practical task on waste separation, e.g. different kind of subjects were to separate them into the categories - paper, glass, plastic and food waste. The last station was to draw children view on the ideal clean and beautiful world.
Such interactive lessons are a part of the information campaign on the separate waste collection in Kobrin.
